Mustang Band Scholarships
Since the first Cal Poly band was formed in 1916, fans have celebrated the work of Mustang Band students to represent the university at home and on the road. A handful of scholarships have been established to help students who have demonstrated dedication and enthusiasm to continue to serve.
Lowe Family Mustang Marching Band Scholarship
- Minimum GPA requirement
- Minimum two years' service in Mustang Band
- One or two scholarships awarded annually
Kawamoto Family Scholarship
- Minimum GPA requirement
- Member of marching French horn section
- Junior or senior level standing
- One scholarship awarded annually
Mustang Band Alumni Association Drum Major Scholarship
- Minimum GPA requirement
- Awarded to a member of the drum major team
- One scholarship awarded annually
Mustang Band Leadership Scholarships
- Minimum GPA requirement
- Awarded to Mustang Band drum majors and service leadership
- Five scholarships awarded annually
